Hyland Place

A mid-century modern aficionado with deep Scandinavian roots wanted to harness the best features of her 1970’s townhome to achieve a more minimalistic lifestyle and allow her more space for hosting family and friends.

To achieve this, we replaced the flooring, opened up the walls to the kitchen, removed the soffits and flat ceiling over the kitchen, designed custom cabinetry that maximized and concealed storage. We brought in all new furnishings including custom art by local artist, Jeralyn Mohr, and added recessed and new decorative lighting by local maker Dutton Brown. Her gorgeous custom range hood was inspired by the detail on her new dining room console table.
