Layout + Space Planning

Before entering a construction agreement, we utilize a planning agreement to draft your property, work through initial floorplan concepts, select foundational elements, and firm up the scope and budget.

We will schedule a time to visit the site to take measurements and photos of the space. If you have original blueprints for the property, or any information regarding existing finishes you wish to keep, we will gather those as well. During this time, we will also host an inspiration session to review images and initial ideas to help us understand your taste and style. We will use this information to develop plans, elevations, and details for your project.

Once your layout is solidified, we review your plans with key tradespeople, our structural engineer and your city’s permitting department to identify any unforeseen hurdles or limitations, and make any adjustments to plans, timeline, or budget necessary.

The thorough exploration we do during this phase allows us to minimize surprises and get clarity on the scope and details of your project, so as we enter a construction agreement, the work can be implemented swiftly and seamlessly.
